Sadau studied Human Resources Management at the School of Business and Finance of Eastern Mediterranean University, Northern Cyprus.
Career
Her career in the movie industry started in 2013. She featured in a few minor roles before her breakthrough came after her role in Ganu ga Wane, Jinin Jikina, where she co-starred with Kannywood legend Ali Nuhu.
On October 3rd, 2016, Rahama was suspended from acting in Kannywood by The Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) for performing in a romantic music video with a Jos-born singer ClassiQ.
She wrote to MOPPAN to apologize for overstepping her boundaries and following the intervention of the then Kano State governor Dr. Abudllahi Umar Ganduje in 2017.
The ban imposed on her was lifted in January 2018. In 2017, Rahama started her filmmaking organization called Sadau Pictures and produced her first film ‘Rariya’ which featured Ali Nuhu, Sadiq Sabi Sadiq, Fali Washa, and Sani Musa Danja. She was named the ‘Face of Kannywood’ in 2016.
